Toyota Kijang Innova: Masih Value for Money?
Empat dekade, waktu yang lama untuk masa hidup produk otomotif. Dalam empat puluh tahun, sudah enam kali Toyota Kijang melewati pergantian generasi. Dan pada 2004, lahirlah Kijang yang sering kita lihat di jalanan saat ini, Innova.
Membawa nama Kijang di depannya, Innova kala itu diharapkan melanjutkan kedigdayaan Kijang pada masanya. Kita mengenalnya dengan sebutan MPV keluarga dengan mesin bandel. Buktinya, masih banyak entitas Kijang lama, yang sampai detik ini berkeliaran di jalanan Indonesia. Bahkan dalam kondisi yang juga masih baik, meski sudah berusia puluhan tahun.
Kembali ke Innova. Jika melihat segmen pasar, fitur dan harganya, memang sudah tak seperti Kijang pada zaman dahulu. Bisa dikatakan, fenomena Kijang kala itu, digantikan Avanza masa sekarang. Sementara Innova posisinya berada di atas Avanza, dari segi kelengkapan maupun harganya.
Tak sedikit yang beranggapan Innova kian lama semakin mahal, apalagi pada generasi terbaru All new Kijang Innova. Namun jangan lupakan istilah ‘ada uang, ada kualitas’. Artinya, di balik harga Innova, ada kualitas di dalamnya. Selain fitur dan kelengkapannya, Innova masih membawa titel ‘bandel’ milik Kijang dan pada generasi terbaru semua disempurnakan oleh Toyota. Mulai dari mesin, fitur, sampai suspensi, semuanya disempurnakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan MPV berkualitas bagi masyarakat Indonesia.
Bukti lain dari tingginya nilai Innova adalah harga jual kembalinya. Jika melihat harga pasaran Kijang Innova bekas, dengan tahun muda, harganya masih tinggi. Harga itu tak akan bertahan kalau permintaan pasarnya sendiri tidak tinggi. Baik untuk mesin bensin maupun diesel, harga Innova second masih sangat kompetitif.
Jika melihat variannya, Innova bermesin diesel menjadi pilihan yang bijak. Harganya memang lebih mahal dari varian bensin. Tapi soal efisiensi, mesin diesel relatif lebih baik daripada bensin. Mesinnya juga sudah baru, mesin yang sama dengan Fortuner saat ini, hanya beda tenaganya saja. Suara mesinnya jauh lebih tenang dan tak mengganggu penumpang di dalam kabin.
Mesin turbodiesel 4-silinder 2.4 liter dengan VNT Intercooler pada Innova menghasilkan daya 149 PS pada 3.400 rpm dan torsi puncak 342 Nm pada 1.200 – 2.600 rpm. Untuk transmisinya ada pilihan manual 5-speed dan otomatis 6-speed.
Varian tertinggi Innova, yakni 2.4 Q A/T Diesel dibanderol Rp 435,5 juta. Tambahkan sekitar Rp 20 juta dan jadilah Fortuner varian terbawah. Artinya, tipe Q pada Innova harganya memang lebih tinggi. Sedang varian V bermesin diesel dengan transmisi otomatis harganya Rp 390,5 Juta. Pihak Toyota Astra Motor pernah memastikan bahwa segmen Innova varian Q berbeda, lebih tinggi, jadi harganya pun lebih mahal dari tipe G dan V. Pembeda signifikannya ada pada fitur safety, tipe Q lebih banyak kantung udaranya dan sudah ada VSC dan HAC (hill assist control).
Jadi, apakah Toyota Kijang Innova saat ini masih menawarkan value for money yang baik? Terlepas dari lebih lengkapnya ftur, kami rasa tidak untuk tipe Q. Namun tipe G dan V bisa menjadi pertimbangan yang baik.
